Why Davtee
Our chartered building consultancy in Alton, Hampshire has been going strong for over 50 years and now includes the third generation of family members. Strong ties to architecture on both sides of the family have cemented multiple lifetimes of experience.
Davtee originally started as a residential developer constructing bespoke and individual communities, gaining nominations and winning awards for the quality and design of our properties. As a family, we invested in and constructed commercial buildings, and now retain a small portfolio of industrial and retail premises.
Having helped many local friends with design and construction issues, we realised there was a service element missing in the local area which our experience could help to fill. We set up Davtee Chartered Building Consultancy with the ideology to help anyone and everyone with any aspect of the built form.
Today our team consists of David, Phillip and Rebecca. Together we combine our design intellect, thought processes and individualism to every project.

Consultation
This is where we get to know you, your wants, needs and lifestyle, giving us an insight into your wishlist and often inspiring design ideas that you may not have considered.

Survey
We survey the existing building, the land and all features of the property to understand you and your property fully. We then form existing plans in electronic form.

Design
We put ideas and designs down on paper in the form of elevation and floorplans. We enjoy hearing your thoughts and comments, adjusting the designs and previewing the overall project to continually reveal new ideas.

Planning
Whether this is a full planning application, a householder application or if you are lucky enough to have Permitted Development Rights, we will ensure you have the best chance of gaining consent.

Building Regulations
We can create building regulation drawings. At this stage we can also lend a helping hand with elemental design, obtaining build quotations and also be on hand during the build process.
